• Job Details
• OPERATING ROOM RN
• Start Date: ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements). *Orientation for this unit will be held bi-weekly on Mondays.
• Shift: 4x10 Eves 11-2130
• Ratios: 1:1
• Years of Experience REQ: 2-3 years of trauma level 1-2 experience required. Preference is 3 of operating room circulating experience in acute care. Ability to independently scrub circulate major cases in full service operating room preferred. Trauma experience required.
• First-Timers Accepted: Travel experience preferred.
• Weekend REQ: TBD but most likely weekday shifts.
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
• Busiest Service Lines: Ortho, Neuro, Gen/Trauma, Vascular, GYN/Uro, Robotics. RN needs to be very comfortable in a level 2 trauma unit.
• Any special procedure done on the unit: We perform high acuity ortho, neuro, and general cases at all times of the day as part of our Level 2 Trauma certification. DaVinci Robotics Center of Excellence- 4 actively used robot rooms with one new DaVinci 5.
• Common Equipment: Doppler, Ultrasound, Neptune, Aquamantis, Video Systems, Lasers, Various Stapling Systems, Hana and Jackson tables, DaVinci Xi Robots, Neuro Beds with Attachments, Cryoablation
• Number of Beds/Cases: 60-70 per day
  • Job Requirements
  • 2-3 years of trauma level 1-2 experience required.
  • 3 years of operating room circulating experience in acute care preferred.
  • Ability to independently scrub circulate major cases in full service operating room preferred.
  • Trauma experience required.
  • Scrub experience is a plus.
  • 1 Year of Epic experience is required.
  • Travel experience preferred.
    • Schedule Information
    • Shift: 4x10 Eves 11-2130
    • Weekend REQ: TBD but most likely weekday shifts.
    • Is on-call REQ? Yes, up to four 8 hour shifts a month per 4 week cycle.
      • Unit Specific Information
      • Unit runs 19-20 rooms per day and needs very well-rounded circulators willing to hop in anywhere.
      • Very busy ortho trauma and totals service, neuro, ENT, plastics, peds, eyes, general, gen trauma, vascular, endovascular, gyn/uro, robotics (gen/gyn/uro).

        • RTO Restrictions: There are no identified limitations for RTO, each submission is considered on a case by case basis.
