  • Job Details
  • Small CAH hospital in OR looking for a 9am-9pm Resource RN. This RN needs ER experience as well as MedSurg/floor experience. ASAP start.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have two years of experience
    • Resource RN with ER and MedSurg experience.
      • Schedule Information
      • 9am-9pm shift
      • NOC shift
      • Orientation is typically 1-2 shifts depending on how comfortable the traveler is.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • This traveler is open to working both MedSurg and ED - Hard to say percentage wise how much they would work per unit (e.g., 50% ED, 50% MedSurg) because they will be working where they are needed.
        • float between ER and MedSurg as needed
          • Additional Details
          • Will not accept holiday RTO.
          • For MedSurg: Nurse to patient ratio: 1:3-1:5 depending on census - Usually 1:3-1:4. Can go up to 1:5 but RARELY happens.
          • We always have a total of two nurses.
          • Extension offer likely if the traveler is a good fit. This is a float BETWEEN MedSurg and ED as needed.
          • Look for housing in Coos Bay and North Bend.
